The thing that no one knows is that people never change. As much as you want them to, and as much as you convince yourself they have, they will never, no, NEVER change. Not your family, not your friends, not even you. They will just keep doing what they're doing; the people you love most have the greatest potential to hurt you, and they always live up to their potential.
